Image processing is the technique that processes the input image and generates the required results. In this work, the technique is being proposed which is an improvement in intelligent water drops algorithm to detect brain tumors. The MRI images are taken as input which will be given to the IWT algorithm for tumor detection. In this work, improvement is being proposed which is based on the SVM classifier. The output of the IWT algorithm is given as input to the SVM classifier which will classify cancer and non-cancer cells from the MRI images. The proposed and existing techniques are being implemented in MATLAB and it is been analyzed that the accuracy of detection is increased up to 20 percent and execution time is reduced to 1.5 seconds.
